Ready your gear! The Gasparilla 2025 Season is right around the corner. Don’t be caught plundering, prepare now for the multitude of events taking place in Tampa, Florida, starting in January.

The Gasparilla 2025: Schedule Of Events!

Tampa’s signature event has been celebrated annually since 1904 and has become a spectacle that you should not miss. Folks travel from all corners to don their pirate garb, run in the Gasparilla Classic, listen during the music festival, and visit the art festival.

Have a plan in place to enjoy this crazy invasion and enjoy yourself! Remember, please drink responsibly. Hire a ride, if necessary, to keep our streets safe. Thank you.

Saturday, January 18th – Children’s Gasparilla

Bring the family downtown Tampa to enjoy the festivities geared toward your little swashbuckler. Events include a bicycle and pedestrian safety rodeo, an air invasion, Children’s Gasparilla Parade, an air show, and fireworks.

Activities, food, entertainment, and more await your family along Bayshore Boulevard. The Children’s Gasparilla Parade includes pirate krewes, marching bands, amazing floats, and plenty of pirate entertainment.

Saturday, January 25th – Gasparilla Invasion and Pirate Fest

Arrrrgh…. Embark on a journey to downtown Tampa to watch the invasion of pirates as they take over Tampa Bay and the waterfront during Gasparilla 2025. The US’s 3rd largest parade takes place down Bayshore Boulevard, along with a host of other entertainment.

Get downtown early to find parking. The invasion takes place from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm and the parade kicks off at 2:00 pm. Enjoy live music at Curtis Hixon Park from 10:00 am – 8:00 pm, on the main stage.

Saturday, February 8th – Sant’ Yago Knight Parade

Come down to Ybor City and enjoy this illuminated parade that includes more than 100 organizations showing off their pirate booty and entertaining the lively crowd. This is a one-of-a-kind parade that is sure to delight!

February 14 – 16th – Gasparilla Music Fest

Come support live music! This weekend-long music festival at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park features musical acts from many genres. The festival includes many stages with ongoing entertainment and food from the area’s top restaurants. By attending, you will support music education and help to provide instruments and scholarships for the next generations.

February 22 & 23 – Gasparilla Distance Classic

The Gasparilla Classic spans both Saturday, February 22nd and Sunday, February 23rd. Challenge yourself to a half marathon, 15k, 5k, stroller races, a 5k walk, and more. Proceeds from this fun weekend benefit various youth programs in the Tampa Bay Area.

March 1st & 2nd – Gasparilla Arts Festival

Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park will transform into an art museum, of sorts. World-renowned artists will convene in one place to showcase the most amazing, juried, art. The Gasparilla Arts Festival is FREE to attend. If you love art and creativity, come down and have a look.

Also, on Saturday, March 1st, the Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla will board Jose Gasparilla II for their outbound voyage. Watch as the Krewe and their special guests set sail in downtown Tampa.
