Symphonic Band of Florida
Lee Lafleur created the Symphonic Band of Florida to unite community musicians to share their love of performing music. His idea sparked interest in many Tampa Bay Area musicians and from abroad.
The group took their first trip in 2022 and spent nine nights touring Austria and Germany, with an add-on post-tour of Prague. The participants from the inaugural tour immediately inquired about the next tour. Then, the 2024 tour of Italy was announced.
The Italy 2024 announcement quickly gained momentum and doubled the touring group’s size within a few months, including more than 30 additional musicians.
Recommended Items For Our Tour:
Acrylic Plexiglass Sheets – These are a great way to keep your music in place on a breezy day
Rechargeable Stand Light – Our concerts will be in the evening hours, so please bring a stand light!
Plastic Music Clips – These will also hold your music in place
Portable Foldable Music Stand – The wire stands are okay, but this stand is packable and much more durable!
Flamingo Sun Visor – Not required, but oh so cute!
